The SnoreRX and the Snore MD Pro are mandibular advance devices or MADs. These type of anti-snoring devices keep your jaw thrust forward so that your airway remains open and you do not snore.
You use these versions of a MAD inside your mouth. Both SnoreRX and SnoreMD Pro have Flex Jaw to help customize the fit.
You need to use the boil and bit fit method first. Once that is done, you can adjust the fit with the Flex Jaw.

The cost caused me a bit of angst. I had to order the pair, one for my wife, but fortunately, the purchase price, still in effect, put the value below $200 total.
Next, the boil and bite fitting, my spouse and I adjusted the fit to our mouths with the Flex Jaw. It was relatively simple as all you had to do is squeeze the bottom. However, you have to be cautious, as it is easy for it to move more than one increase. It was not as readily as we required.
The design apparently allows you to drink and talk while wearing it. We both found that we had problems doing so. I spilled water all over me the first time I tried to drink while using this.
I awoke the first night at my wife elbowing me in the side. I did snoring aloud. It got me three nights, but I was ultimately efficient to find the right fit to stop me from snoring.
Till I got the fit right, I had a sore mouth when I awoke. However, when I finally got the device to fit correctly, some soreness disappeared.
My spouse, though, did not make a sound. She did not need to readjust her SnoreMD and experienced no mouth soreness either.
Washing with the brush took more time than I liked but we eventually got used to that too. Overall the mouthpiece was precise, but it is not one of my top stop snoring devices.
Trying The SnoreRX
My spouse and I were meticulous about the fitting process, so it took more time than we expected. We carefully modified the Flex Jaw. However, notwithstanding our efforts, I awoke after the first morning with a slightly sore jaw. My spouse, however, felt fine. Once I made a slight correction, the next night the soreness goes.
The results satisfied both of us. My son declared he did not hear anything coming from our room. I woke up to let the dogs out and noticed that my wife was quietly asleep. She described the same thing about me when she got up to use the bathroom.
Washing was the most painful part of using the SnoreRX. We had to clean it thoroughly, and it seemed to take forever. We immediately got used to it, and after a couple of mornings, the washing became usual.
The SnoreRX overall was comfortable to fit and slightly lighter to clean. To be fair, once I was able to adjust the SnoreMD Pro correctly, it too worked as presented and kept my wife and me from snoring.
If you purchase either mouthguard, make sure to use a SnoreRX coupon or SnoreMD Pro Coupon.
